Been a while...
Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through all of this. I know that I'm going to be fat for the rest of my life. No matter how far down I get, I always binge back up to the 170's. I need to get some more no doze. That stuff can really help through the tough spots. Right now, I'm at 173, but I am going to set a goal right now for 168 by the end of the week. Current Mood: cold
Wow.. just found this group... COOL!!! Well.. since no one else has posted, I'll go first. I'm 24 and have been through two different ED's. Ana and COE. All throughout my teens, the most I would eat was dinner and even then I would skip that as often as I could. I would work out 4-5 hours a day, everyday without exception. Get up in the morning and run for an hour. If I had time, I would go work out in the school gym and then go to classes. Then to weight training where I would always get made fun of because I would always use the least amount of weight possible and just do as many reps as I could to burn off the fat. That was on "A" days. On "B" days, I had track class right after lunch. Then, everyday after school, I would have track work out for another hour to an hour and a half. Finally, at nights I would go running for about another hour. That was soooo nice! My max weight was 126. What I would give to get there again...
Then, I graduated. Got married and got REALLY fat. You see, it was easy to hide my eating habits from my parents. I would just tell them that I ate a my friends house. But my wife was more perceptive. I couldn't stand the thought of hurting her, so, almost overnight, I started compulsively over eating. I mean, pretty much everything in site. We're talking I would eat out at least 3 times a day. When I would try to start loosing weight, I would do something like the slim fast diet. The only problem is, I would have a slim fast WITH a full meal. I quickly got to over 200 pounds.
Now, my wife and I are divorced, and I don't have to feel guilty about what I eat, or when I eat, or how much I eat. I have gone from about 210 to 160 in a couple of months. I started to slip and went back up to 174 last week, but since I've regained control I've lost 4 lbs in about a day and a half. I now post what I eat, when I ate it and how many calories it has in my personal journal. I'm going for a 200 calorie/day restriction with the only solid food being a few saltine crackers with my fat free chicken broth at night. I will do this until I reach at least 160, then I might increase it to 500 calories a day to allow for a little reward.
My goal is to reach 110. I can do it. I will do it. I must do it. Current Mood: cynical
